After months of renovations, Menangle’s much-loved destination, Country Club Menangle, is coming together, set to bring a new life into the new estates being built within the suburb of Menangle. distinctive Living Design is excited to announce their contribution to the conservation of the much loved Menangle House, previously known as ‘The Horse and Jockey Inn’.
The new club features lush green lawns, lots of shade and an abundance of gardens, making it the perfect destination for a summers wedding or a Sunday afternoon garden party. The gardens are dotted with heritage rose bushes, mature trees in and around Menangle House, creating a variety of intimate outdoor spaces perfect for any occasion.
The vision in the design layout is a series of garden rooms with a warm, welcoming and homely feel so you can explore and find your favorite space to spend time with family and friends.
The grounds are large enough for kids to roam and explore with two dedicated play spaces for different age groups. For those hosting a private event, the garden rooms allow you to hire a dedicated space with the unique backdrop of the heritage home – perfect for photography. The variety of bars, dining options, and spaces to sit in allow for a high degree of flexibility and adaptability so that staff can cater to many different needs at the one time.
New indoor and outdoor bars, new restaurants and bistro areas, and new function spaces integrate with the Heritage Home and Stone Barn. The gardens provide cooling shade and a rich green setting to enjoy them in.
Working on local heritage buildings had become a cornerstone of the distinctive brand. We have been lucky enough to work on a number of local heritage items including Camden Park House, George IV Inn, and Camden Valley Inn, along with Menangle House.
Country Club Menangle is nestled on Racecourse Avenue, Menangle Park. The perfect location for a summers day out.
