Dean Boone, the director of distinctive has been lucky enough to head over to Singapore to explore the up and coming, as well as some staples within the Singapore Hospitality scene.


Built in 1895 along the Singapore River, the Warehouse Hotel was a hotbed of secret societies and liquor distilleries. The main function of this space has now changed since its refurbishment in 2017, where it was restored as a modern 37 room boutique hotel. The hotel has a strong focus on heritage and local culture, delivering thoughtful hospitality with immaculately detailed rooms, classic local dishes and crafted cocktails.


The Warehouse Hotel is the inaugural hotel of renowned Singaporean hospitality firm The Low & Behold Group and is part of the prestigious Design Hotels.


Raffles Hotel, perhaps the most famous hotel in Singapore. was first opened on December 1st 1887. As the hotel expanded, it played host to the richest and most famous members of society, including Charlie Chaplin, Somerset Maugham, Elizabeth Taylor, and the late Karl Largerfield.



The historic hotel bar also claims the title of birthplace of the iconic Singapore Sling - A must have when visiting the island of Singapore.
